Unser elfte Artist Meetup bietet KünstlerInnen und Musikschaffenden eine Plattform um andere Musikprojekte kennenzulernen, sowie sich über Möglichkeiten einer Zusammenarbeit auszutauschen.

Acht Musikschaffende stellen ihre Musik, Projekt, Band, Label, Studio etc. vor - um vielleicht Leute zu finden, die mit ihnen zusammenarbeiten möchten, und um Ideen und Feedback von anderen KünstlerInnen zu bekommen. Im Anschluss gibt es bei Drinks und Musik die Gelegenheit miteinander (auch mit denen die nicht präsentieren) zu den Projekten ins Gespräch zu kommen, Leute zu finden, die am Projekt mitarbeiten möchten, Ideen und Kontakte auszutauschen, gemeinsam weiter zu kommen als alleine! Wir freuen uns auf einen regen Austausch - zwischen unterschiedlichen Szenen, zwischen verschiedenen Interessen und Erfahrungen, und auf einem neuen gemeinsamen Weg.

Du möchtest beim Artist Meetup präsentieren? Wir haben insgesamt acht Slots a zehn Minuten. Schreibe bitte in einer kurzen Email an andrea (at) musicpoolberlin (dot) net was du gern präsentieren möchtest, bis zum 20. August 2018.
Es lohnt sich selbstverständlich auch für diejenigen, die nicht präsentieren vorbeizukommen, und die anderen KünstlerInnen und Musikschaffenden kennenzulernen.

Eintritt frei; kommt einfach vorbei.

Die Moderation würde auf Englisch sein, Sie können sich jedoch auf Deutsch präsentieren, wenn Sie sich wohler fühlen, und wir werden Ihnen bei der Übersetzung helfen.

The Music Pool Berlin Artists Meet Up offers a platform for musicians to share their music projects with a wider musician community, ask for feedback, ideas or support, and get to know each other. You can show a new video, play a new track or song, or perform live (only with a relatively easy tech setup, like singing, rapping with beats, acoustic instruments ..). You can also mention if you are e.g. looking for a drummer, a producer, a graphic designer etc.

Would you like to present at the Artist Meet Up? We have approx. 8 slots of 10 minutes each including feedback and discussion with the audience.

Please write an email to andrea (at) musicpoolberlin (dot) net latest by April 5, 2018, including a link to your music and some brief info on what and why you'd like to present. The event is open to all artists regardless of genre.

At the end of the presentations, there will be time to meet and talk to each other over a drink and some music. It definitely makes sense to come by also for those who are not presenting.

The moderation will be in English, however, you can present in German, if you feel more comfortable, and we will help you translate.

No entrance fee, just come by. No registration needed, only if you want to present.

Unser sechstes Artist Meetup bietet euch eine Plattform um andere Musikprojekte kennenzulernen, gemeinsam eure Musik anzuhören, sowie Möglichkeiten einer Zusammenarbeit zu besprechen.

Acht Musikschaffende stellen ihre Musik, Projekt, Band, Label, Studio etc. vor - um vielleicht Leute zu finden, die mit ihnen zusammenarbeiten möchten, und um Ideen und Feedback von anderen KünstlerInnen zu bekommen.    Im Anschluss gibt es bei Drinks und Musik die Gelegenheit miteinander (auch mit denen die nicht präsentieren) zu den Projekten ins Gespräch zu kommen, Leute zu finden, die am Projekt mitarbeiten möchten, Ideen und Kontakte auszutauschen, gemeinsam weiter zu kommen als alleine!   Wir freuen uns auf einen regen Austausch - zwischen unterschiedlichen Szenen, zwischen verschiedenen Interessen und Erfahrungen, und auf einem neuen gemeinsamen Weg. Diesmal könnt ihr euch danach auch beim Karaoke kennenlernen.

Live Performances gehen nur mit geringem technischen Aufwand, wie zum Beispiel singen, ein akustisches Instrument spielen, oder zu Beats rappen.

Es lohnt sich selbstverständlich auch für diejenigen, die nicht präsentieren vorbeizukommen, und die anderen KünstlerInnen und Musikschaffenden kennenzulernen.

Our third Artist Meetup offers a platform for musicians to learn about others’ music projects, and meet each other to find out about possibilities for collaborations.

Eight artists and music makers will present their project, band, label, studio etc. to their peers - in order to find other people to join the project, or to get ideas and feedback from fellow musicians.

The eight presentation slots are now filled - however the Artist Meetup is for all of you to come by and meet each other! Just come by on Wednesday, entry is free.

Afterwards everyone will have a chance to chat with each other (also with those who are not presenting) over a drink and perhaps find someone to collaborate with on a project, exchange ideas and contacts, offer services: build a community.

We hope for a great exchange of talent and look forward to seeing the musicians of the city getting together, coming out of their own scenes and opening up perspectives for the future!

Community Evening #18 // Artist Meet-Up No.1

This time our community evening was all about the people who are participating in our orientation consultings, our workshops and coachings.

We offered a few people the chance to show off their projects and works in the Humboldthain Club.

In the first Artist meet up the following people were participating:

Dj Zhao - "Dj Zhao is a rhythm ambassador and musicologist, bringing a poly-cultural understanding of sound to his deeply percussive cross-genre sets."

Lucia Lip - is an artist who currently is making electronic pop extravaganza music

mädchenradio - a radio show for and with strong "girls"

neinzer - a DJ from London currently living and based in Berlin. He is "looking for electronic musicians in berlin to start a regular night with. This is not just another party, this is about the music. i want this to be about bizarre, deep, heady, unusual and complex music. "

Franz Matthews an artist from France with different projects like Parlez-vous anglais? and also music with the genre of Hedonistische Elektronische Disko.

Tonedemic is a record studio based in Berlin "a young, new Music Production Company, recently founded in Berlin."

Tiliboo Afrobeat "is a Berlin-based, international band led by Omar Diop, from Sénégal."

Kukuwiza is a bulgarian female choir. The choir is in need for an alto voice to make the group complete again.

Kalina Morcuende is a Singer-Songwriter based in Berlin with the genre of dreamy&dark. She is in search for a celist as well as a low key drummer.

We want to thank everyone who participated in the event and showed the community their projects.
