Der Workshop

In einer Welt, in der wir uns positionieren müssen, wird einzigartiges Storytelling immer wichtiger. Doch gute Texte brauchen Zeit, eine Herausforderung im professionellen Songwriting, in dem Songs innerhalb weniger Stunden nicht nur geschrieben, sondern komplett fertig produziert werden müssen. Ein schneller Zugang zu Ideen und Texten ist daher Grundvoraussetzung für professionelles Songwriting.

Doch wie hebe ich mich mit einzigartigen Texten und Ideen vom Markt ab? Wie schaffe ich es in Sessions einen Flow zu entwickeln, in dem ich Texte schnell generieren kann, ohne dass sie Einzigartigkeit einbüßen müssen? Und welche Rolle spielt meine eigene Biografie dabei?

Ausgehend von neuesten Erkenntnissen zum Thema Kreativität und Psychologie und den Erfahrungen aus dem künstlerischen Beruf eines Songwriters/in, werden grundlegende Methoden vorgestellt, um zum einen ein kreatives Mindset speziell für SongwriterInnen zu stärken und nachhaltig zu etablieren, und zum anderen einen schnellen Zugang zu eigenen Themen und Ideen zu gewährleisten. Ziel des Workshops ist es, die Teilnehmerinnen mit einem Bewußtsein für verschiedene Kreativtechniken auszustatten, um ihnen das Findung einzigartiger Themen und Liedtexte zu erleichtern.

This is a workshop about different approaches to inducing flow in the process of writing. We will explore several tested techniques used by writers to circumvent the inner critic / self-editor. We will also explore perspective shifting, visual storytelling, activating different senses, synaesthesia, movie language, dramatic reversals, dream logic etc. as ways to refresh the approach to drafting lyrics. The workshop was designed to be hands on, ie. we will be spend most of it writing!

With 12 Lines of text and 5 hours, the Creative Kickstarter workshop shows you how to go through the creative process of writing a song, without censoring and with a concrete result at the end.

The basic structure is simple, and no musical experience is required. We donʼt only teach songwriting basics, though. With fun and useful creative problem-solving tools, we teach you to trust your creative process and work through creative blocks.
