Um als Künstler:in erfolgreich zu sein, ist eine starke Strategie, wie Artists die Beziehungen zu Fans, Audience und Partner:innen gestalten, eines der grundlegendsten Elemente Deiner Musikkarriere. Die größten Künstler:innen der Welt zeigen, dass der Weg an die Spitze kein Zufall ist, sondern vielmehr Resultat harter Arbeit ist, die eine klare Grundlage, eine strategische Gesamtperspektive und intelligentes Handeln für eine starke Artist Brand erfordert. Im Rahmen des Workshops It’s All About The Brand: Das „How To" zum nachhaltigen Aufbau Deiner Künstler:innenmarke lernen die Teilnehmenden, was eine Markenstrategie für Künstler:innen ist, wie man eine solche Strategie erarbeitet und schließlich zum Leben erweckt.

Der Workshop ist in zwei Teile gegliedert: Im ersten Teil werden zunächst unterschiedlichen Begriffe aus den Bereichen Marke, Identität und Strategie unterschieden, gefolgt von einer Einführung in das Grundkonzept der Markenstrategie für Künstler:innen im Allgemeinen, sowie in die Zielgruppe und die Notwendigkeit eine Strategie zu entwickeln. Zum Abschluss des ersten Teils wird das Artist Brand Canvas (ABC) als praktisches Instrument für die Entwicklung vonMarkenstrategien für Künstler:innen vorgestellt.

Der zweite Teil konzentriert sich auf den Prozess der Entwicklung der Strategie Artist Brand. Teilnehmende werden zunächst mit der internen und externen Situationsanalyse, sowie der SWOT-Analyse vertraut gemacht. Um den Grundstein für den eigentlichen Strategieentwicklungsprozess zu legen, werden die Teilnehmenden in die Konzepte des Golden Circle von Sinek sowie in die Identitätsbasierte Markenführung von Burmann als zugrunde liegende wissenschaftliche Modelle eingeführt. Nach Abschluss der Definition der Identität der Künstler:innenmarke werden Messaging und Story der Brand entwickelt und auf die passenden Brand Touchpoints abgestimmt.

ÜBER DEN WORKSHOP

Um was geht es im Workshop?
Der Workshop geht darum, wie Musiker:innen mit einfachen Mitteln – wie eigenem Handy, natürlichem Licht oder einfachen Lichtformern und weiteren hilfreichen Tools – kreativen Content für Plattformen wie Instagram, TikTok oder Spotify produzieren können. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Verbindung von Musik und visueller Identität: Wie erzähle ich mit Bildern oder mit kurzen Videos/Reels eine Geschichte, die zu meinem Sound passt? Mit diesem Fokus erfahren die Teilnehmende, wie sie visuell denken und einen Gestaltungsprozess planen und verwirklichen können.

Für wen ist der Workshop?
Für Musikerinnen, insbesondere Newcomers oder unabhängige Künstlerinnen, die ihre visuelle Präsenz selbst in die Hand nehmen wollen. Wichtig ist der Wunsch, sich kreativ auszudrücken und die eigene Musik auch visuell erlebbar zu machen.

Am Ende des Workshops kannst du:

• deine visuelle Identität klarer benennen und gestalten,
• die Design Thinking-Methode verwenden,
• mit deiner eigenen Ausstattung kreative Fotos und Videos umsetzen,
• einfache Tools gezielt einsetzen, um kreativen Content zu erstellen,
• Bildsprache und Storytelling bewusst mit deiner Musik verbinden.

Du gehst mit einem Moodboard, einer umgesetzten Gestaltungsmethode, konkreten Content-Ideen, ersten eigenen Bildern/Videos und Tipps für deinen Content-Alltag nach Hause.

The workshop is designed for singers/songwriters/recording artists and combines theoretical as well as practical elements.

In the first part of the workshop, we will warm up and get acquainted with the "Free Your Voice" method: “Singing without thinking”:

- Exercise: Breathing and sound production.
- Theoretical knowledge of the respiratory system
- Exercise: Pulling the sound forward.

- Introducing the special “Free your voice” techniques for voice production
- Mental preparation: Dealing with limiting beliefs, anxiety and destructive thoughts, turning the gaze inside. Practice.
