Nowadays, there is no international music trade show taking place without an expert panel on virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), artificial intelligence (AI) or music data mining.

From the idea of VR live concerts to creative ‚collaborations‘ between artists and AI such as „Flow Machines“ to data based A&Ring, we will take a closer look at the amazing opportunities that can lie within technological innovation.

Aim: This workshop intends to discuss the current impact of new technologies on the music business and culture, examine the practical relevance of it in a musician´s day-to-day life and take a sneak peek into the nearer future.
