Niklas Mündemann studierte Saxofon und Instrumentalpädagogik an der Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen und ist seit 2017 als selbstständiger Musiker und Musikpädagoge tätig. Er hat mehrere Alben veröffentlicht und Konzerte in ganz Europa gespielt. Durch die Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Labels und Agenturen weltweit konnte er ein starkes Netzwerk aufbauen und unterstützt seit 2023 andere Künstler*innen dabei, sich professionell im Musikmarkt zu positionieren.

Um diese Arbeit zu intensivieren, gründete er 2024 die Agentur psst!, mit der er Musiker*innen in den Bereichen Releasestrategie, Management, Förderakquise und Musikmarketing begleitet. Zudem ist er Gründer und Vorstandsvorsitzender des Vereins Klimper Klang – Musik Inklusiv e.V., der sich für barrierefreie Musikangebote für Menschen mit Behinderung und mehr Inklusion in der Musikszene einsetzt.

Maria ist seit 2006 im Musik- und Veranstaltungsbusiness unterwegs und hat sich 2013 mit ihrer eigenen Booking-Agentur Thammtation Music selbstständig gemacht. Sie organisiert nicht nur Bookings, sondern kümmert sich auch um Künstler:innen-Management, Touren, Produktionen, Artist Care und Videoprojekte.

Davor hat sie bei bekannten Playern wie KBK, RBK Fusion und ShevEvent gearbeitet und so richtig Erfahrung gesammelt. Ihr Studium der Soziologie, Psychologie und Medienpädagogik an der Uni Augsburg hat sie mit dem Fokus auf Musik und Jugend abgeschlossen und sich später noch als Musikkauffrau weitergebildet. Praktika bei Warner/Chappell Music und Radio Feierwerk haben ihren Weg in die Branche geebnet.

Do you want to live out of your music but don't know how? We hear so much doom and gloom today from people screaming that there’s no money in music except for the big major artists.

So how to make a good (subjective of course) living nowadays with your music? The secret is that there is not one way to succeed. You have to figure out what works for you. How to adapt both mentally and practically, and figure out how you can use your talents to make a living, and simultaneously pursue and fulfill your dream.

I have been living out of music for the last 40 years, and have tried almost all fields in a constantly changing the music business as a DIY-thinking person.

Taking the starting point in my own story, I want to share with you what I have learned along the road, and I will run through what possibilities there are to get to live out of doing what you love the most, and how to put a career together so it fits YOUR personal needs and dreams.

Maikol Piardi is a digital creator, podcast host, community founder, and music marketing coach with Italo-Panamanian roots. Em Burrows is a music producer, qualified educator, and music industry professional from Western Australia. She has worked in the Australian music sector for almost 20 years in many roles including ‘Audience Development Officer’ at West Australian Music. She is also the founder of ‘Avalon Berlin’; an international development program for West Australian artists. Community, connection, and a holistic approach is at the heart of Em’s practice. Her broad experience in creative strategising and management enables her to help artists get to the heart of their own artistic and professional intentions and to develop actionable pathways towards sustainable long term creative careers. Em is particularly passionate about empowering, educating, and supporting female artists.
As well as being a self-managed independent artist, Em is a record label owner (Group Therapy Records), community leader and gender equity advocate (Girls Rock! WA), experienced radio broadcaster, and podcast host (Wide Open Road: The West Australian Music Podcast). In 2022, she was nominated for Western Australia's most prestigious industry award, the Gold WAMi, for her contribution to the local music sector.

Songs auf mehreren Nummer #1 und Gold-Alben stehen auf der Songwriting Seite von Christoph zu Buche, aber seine Tätigkeiten in der Musikindustrie gehen über das Autorendasein hinaus und
überblicken das Business aus verschiedenen Perspektiven. Angefangen hat alles mit klassischem Bandleben und europaweiten Touren – dann kamen das Schreiben sowie Produktionen für nationale und internationale Acts hinzu. In einem Zeitraum von
drei Jahren konnte er als Autor über 100 Wochen Titel auf Top30 Alben platzieren und insgesamt über 10 Mio Streams erreichen. Seine Produktionen schafften es in das Fernsehen in US, UK, JP, in alle deutschen TV-Sender und erreichen ebenso 7-stellige Zahlen im Streaming. Ein aktuelles Bandprojekt in Eigenregie findet sich auf über 60k Playlisten wieder. Auch die Business Seite der Musikindustrie ist ein Feld, auf dem er sich bestens auskennt. Laura Lee ist eine in Berlin ansässige Songwriterin, Multiinstrumentalistin und Performerin. Erste internationale Aufmerksamkeit erntete sie als eine Hälfte der Berliner Indie-Rock-Band Gurr, mit der sie 2018 den Impala Award für das beste europäische Indie-Album des Jahres gewann. Im Januar 2020 spielte Laura Lee an der Seite Iris Berbens in dem ZDF Film „Nicht tot zu kriegen“ (Regie: Nina Grosse) mit, für den sie gemeinsam mit Andreya Casablanca zwei Songs komponierte. 2020 startete Laura Lee ihre Solokarriere unter dem Namen Laura Lee & the Jettes. Nach der Veröffentlichung ihres ersten Albums trat sie in New York auf dem New Colossus Festival, beim SXSW in Austin Texas sowie im Vorprogramm der Beatsteaks auf. Laura Lee ist Keychange-Stipendiatin, einer Initiative zur Hilfe von Sichtbarkeit von Frauen und unterrepräsentierten Gruppen in der Musikindustrie, wo sie sich als Mentorin für Nachwuchskünstler*innen engagiert. Seit August 2022 ist sie Mutter einer Tochter und zeigt ihren Alltag zurück in die Musikindustrie in der von Noisey produzierten Dokumentation “6 Hours with Laura Lee”.
