Um als Künstler:in erfolgreich zu sein, ist eine starke Strategie, wie Artists die Beziehungen zu Fans, Audience und Partner:innen gestalten, eines der grundlegendsten Elemente Deiner Musikkarriere. Die größten Künstler:innen der Welt zeigen, dass der Weg an die Spitze kein Zufall ist, sondern vielmehr Resultat harter Arbeit ist, die eine klare Grundlage, eine strategische Gesamtperspektive und intelligentes Handeln für eine starke Artist Brand erfordert. Im Rahmen des Workshops It’s All About The Brand: Das „How To" zum nachhaltigen Aufbau Deiner Künstler:innenmarke lernen die Teilnehmenden, was eine Markenstrategie für Künstler:innen ist, wie man eine solche Strategie erarbeitet und schließlich zum Leben erweckt.

Der Workshop ist in zwei Teile gegliedert: Im ersten Teil werden zunächst unterschiedlichen Begriffe aus den Bereichen Marke, Identität und Strategie unterschieden, gefolgt von einer Einführung in das Grundkonzept der Markenstrategie für Künstler:innen im Allgemeinen, sowie in die Zielgruppe und die Notwendigkeit eine Strategie zu entwickeln. Zum Abschluss des ersten Teils wird das Artist Brand Canvas (ABC) als praktisches Instrument für die Entwicklung vonMarkenstrategien für Künstler:innen vorgestellt.

Der zweite Teil konzentriert sich auf den Prozess der Entwicklung der Strategie Artist Brand. Teilnehmende werden zunächst mit der internen und externen Situationsanalyse, sowie der SWOT-Analyse vertraut gemacht. Um den Grundstein für den eigentlichen Strategieentwicklungsprozess zu legen, werden die Teilnehmenden in die Konzepte des Golden Circle von Sinek sowie in die Identitätsbasierte Markenführung von Burmann als zugrunde liegende wissenschaftliche Modelle eingeführt. Nach Abschluss der Definition der Identität der Künstler:innenmarke werden Messaging und Story der Brand entwickelt und auf die passenden Brand Touchpoints abgestimmt.

Video making requires talented people's time and equipment, filming days and post production days. How can you publish quality daily stories?
In this workshop you will learn how to create your own videos, refine your brand, use social platforms wisely and learn about image composition.
To find your brand, we need to talk about your music, the current album or event that you wish to promote, the feel that your music is offering, and the image that you wish to portray.
We will discuss different ideas and thoughts about creating diverse content, and how to create a low budget music video, including the thought process and what steps needed to make it from an idea to finished video.
We will touch on the technical part of video making with a smartphone, discover the video filming options and go over the basics of editing.
We will look at video size benefits, key features, how much to upload and other do's and don'ts, and how to promote your video creation on social platforms.

Target Group
This workshop is for musicians, who'd like to learn how to produce video content on a budget and with a proper strategy

Learning Outcome
In this workshop you will learn how to create your own videos, refine your brand, use social platforms wisely and learn about image composition.

Nimrod Keren is a video producer, director, screenwriter, and editor born in Jerusalem in 1984.
His work revolves primarily around music, he has made numerous collaborations with musicians, bands and DJ's creating music videos, filming festivals, live concerts and tour documentations.
In addition to his cinematic work Nimrod is a commercial content creator for brands and creates documentaries for private companies and for television.

Der Workshop „Content-Creation Workshop: Erfolgreiches Storytelling für Musiker:innen auf TikTok & Reels “ richtet sich an Newcomer und etablierte Musiker:innen, die erfahren möchten, mit welchen Methoden man spannende Content Ideen für sich selbst entdeckt. Heutzutage charten junge Künstler:innen teilweise, indem sie drei Dinge kombinieren:

1) ihren Song

2) kreative Promo Ideen und

3) ihr Smartphone.

Dafür braucht es oft nicht einmal ein Budget, sondern kreative Skills. Nicht jeder Person ist diese Intuition in die Wiege gelegt und das muss es auch nicht, da man das lernen und trainieren kann. Es gibt theoretische Ansätze, so wie praktische Tipps und Tricks, um diese Baustellen zu bewältigen. Im Rahmen des Workshops erarbeiten wir Ansätze zur „Corporate Identity“ der jeweiligen Teilnehmer:innen und erstellen in Praxisübungen Hochkant-Videos für TikTok und co.

Der Workshop richtet sich an Musiker:innen jeden Alters, die ihre Reichweite mit Hilfe von TikTok und Reels erhöhen möchten.

Stephanie von Beauvais has been shooting music videos and commercials as a director and producer for over 20 years in Germany and abroad. She studied at the University of the Arts in Berlin, graduating with a degree in communications, and during this time gained practical experience in Los Angeles, with Tom Tykwer and in various film productions. Commercials for products such as Axe, Twix, Ovomaltine, SAT1, DEVK, Brigitte or Dr Hauschka were produced under her direction. Among others, she directed Lukas Podolski, Esther Schweins and Hape Kerkeling. With her camera she accompanied bands in the making of their record, she filmed concerts in the pit and with her music videos she helped to create an own image for various artists. She has worked with Beatsteaks, Tocotronic, Laing, 2Raumwohnung, Kreator, Turbostaat, Egoexpress and many others. Beauvais is also the author and director of the program 'My Hometown', a music documentary format that appeared on ARD einsplus. Here, musicians such as Casper, Marteria, Beatsteaks, Olli Schulz and Cro presented their personal stories in their hometown. The director lives in Berlin, is a music video lecturer at the Screen and Film Faculty/ Berlin and has held workshops on the same topic, for example at the International Women's Film Festival Dortmund or at Pop-Kultur Berlin.
