Sandra is a songwriter, producer, and performer. She has already toured with her solo project ‘Polar Noir’ alongside bands such as M83 and Cari Cari and played concerts in Germany, Poland, Austria, and Denmark. At the beginning of 2025, she released her debut album ‘Coming Up For Breath’, on which she combines dreamy, shoegazy synth-pop with environmental themes. The album brought her worldwide attention and rotated in the playlists of over 100 radio stations. At the same time, she works as a freelance music journalist and radio and event presenter. She has hosted and curated the music programme ‘Chelsea Hotel’ on the Munich radio station egoFM for over ten years, and has also been head of the editorial team for more than half of that time. She conducted hundreds of interviews for her programme, including with New Order, St. Vincent, Girl in Red, and Peter Doherty. In 2020, she was awarded the German Radio Prize in the ‘Best Programme’ category for her work and was honoured by the jury with the following words: "Chelsea Hotel is a gem that not only provides entertainment, but also awakens a desire for a style of music that is rarely heard on the radio. Sandra Gern also shows that music moderation can be casual and fact-oriented simultaneously." She therefore knows the music industry from a wide variety of perspectives, and knows how to seamlessly transfer her diverse experience and skills between the different areas.

Sharon is an eclectic musician with classical background, an artist, singer, songwriter, pianist, composer, producer and sound designer. STL's art combines ethnic, jazz,
electro and classical elements. Deep roots of multi-cultural musical influences meet the modern world of new Israeli music. Born 1985 in Tel Aviv, Israel, very soon at the age of six Sharon became best friends with the classical piano. Music is her mother tongue. STL, winner of the Rock Rimon competition and graduate of the Jerusalem Music Academy has successfully toured the country with her very well received records SHINY STUFF and MAKOM, released under the label of Nana Disc, with the support of ACUM, the Society of Authors, Composers and Music Publishers in Israel and the National Lottery MIPHAL HAPAIS. Her song MADANIM entered Apple Music's "Best Of The Week" playlist. In 2019 Sharon won the ACUM Songwriter Award and was invited to play the Piano Festival Tel Aviv. In addition to her solo career, Sharon teaches, produces and composes music
for the media. She currently releases her third studio album in Hebrew, has an English language album in the mixes and is writing an Iraqi language project.

Em Burrows is a music producer, qualified educator, and music industry professional from Western Australia. She has worked in the Australian music sector for almost 20 years in many roles including ‘Audience Development Officer’ at West Australian Music. She is also the founder of ‘Avalon Berlin’; an international development program for West Australian artists. Community, connection, and a holistic approach is at the heart of Em’s practice. Her broad experience in creative strategising and management enables her to help artists get to the heart of their own artistic and professional intentions and to develop actionable pathways towards sustainable long term creative careers. Em is particularly passionate about empowering, educating, and supporting female artists.
As well as being a self-managed independent artist, Em is a record label owner (Group Therapy Records), community leader and gender equity advocate (Girls Rock! WA), experienced radio broadcaster, and podcast host (Wide Open Road: The West Australian Music Podcast). In 2022, she was nominated for Western Australia's most prestigious industry award, the Gold WAMi, for her contribution to the local music sector.

Creating is hunting.

Hunting for sounds, hunting for beats, hunting for inspiration. This workshop is intended for songwriters and artists who wish to explore sampling as a creative tool. In the workshop Asaf Eden will share his unique workflow, developed in over 15 years of working with samples both live and in the studio. Following Marshall McLuhan´s saying that “the medium is the message” we will see how sampling offers an unconventional , often anti-establishment way of creating music that resonates pioneering movements in modern art. We will “hunt” for samples together and create the foundation for our own sample library. This workshop combines theory and hands-on practice. It is recommended to bring a laptop and headphones.

For whom?

The workshop is intended for creative people who wish to explore another avenue of expression and familiarise themselves with sampling, conceptually and technically. There is no need to have experience with sampling or to own a sampler.

By who?

Asaf Eden is the songwriter and producer known as Ryskinder. For more than a decade of musical activity he has been using samplers both live and in the studio.

Songs on several #1 and gold albums are on Christoph's songwriting side, but his activities in the music industry go beyond being an author and survey the business from different perspectives. It all started with classic band life and European tours - then writing and productions for national and international acts were added. In a period of three years, as an author, he was able to place titles on top 30 albums for over 100 weeks and achieve a total of over 10 million streams. His productions made it onto television in the US, UK, JP, all German TV channels and also reached 7- digit numbers in streaming. A current self-directed band project can be found on over 60k playlists. The business side of the music industry is also a field in which he is very familiar. The expertise he has acquired through his own career enables him to manage a label and a publishing house (including some global hits). Through these activities he got to know sales structures, billing,
contracts, rights clearing, syncs and the world of collecting societies (as well as KSK) in detail. Christoph knows the music business from many positions - as a self-taught artist from DIY to major, from JuZe concerts to EDM playlists, from self-releases to chart albums. Mental health should be the focus of all considerations – as should recognizing and overcoming abusive constellations.

Laura Lee is a Berlin-based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and performer. She first gained international attention with her band GURR, winning numerous awards including the Impala Award for Best European Indie Album of the Year and the VUT Award for Best Album as well as starring in the German TV movie “Nicht tot zu kriegen”. She has opened for bands such as Arcade Fire, The Strokes and Beatsteaks. In 2020, Laura Lee launched her solo career under the name Laura Lee & the Jettes. After the release of her debut album, she performed in New York City at the New Colossus Festival and at SXSW in Austin Texas. Since April 2023, Laura Lee has worked for the state theater in Leipzig, starring in the play „The Master and Margarita“ where she acts, sings and makes music. Laura Lee is a recipient of the Keychange stipend, an initiative to help increase visibility for women and underrepresented groups in the music industry where she also mentors aspiring musicians. Since August 2022, Laura Lee is a mother to a daughter and shows her path back into the music industry in the documentary „6 hours with Laura Lee“, produced by Noisey.

You wanna start looping but don’t know where to start? You got your loop pedal but it’s still in it’s box? You figured out what goes where, but now what?
You love working with a band, but man, it’s so expensive to maintain…You want to be able to perform solo or upgrade your show?

What possibilities does a loop station offers?

How to not be shy and start to explore your musicality.
How to use looping as a tool to composing or arranging.
How to use looping during a live performance.

A hands-on workshop for people who want to do their first steps in the world of looping.
We’ll over come technical-phobia and shyness around loop pedals. We’ll learn how to set-up your loop-pedal and basic functions.
How to utilise your loop-pedal for creativity and song writing.
We’ll acquire the silliness needed to fool around and enjoy playing on a new, unknown territory.
Having troubles? How to solve little annoying twicks. And finally, how to make the loop pedal work for you :)

She uses foremost her cello in an extraordinary way, creating rhythms and sounds, utilizing looping and sound technologies, haunting soundscapes and surprising effects.
