Du stehst mit deinem Projekt in den Startlöchern doch es fehlt dir noch finanzielle Unterstützung für die Umsetzung? Du denkst über eine Förderung nach? Künstler:innenfördeung ist für dich, wie für viele Musiker:innen, noch ein recht unbekanntes Terrain und deshalb lässt du lieber die Finger von einer Antragstellung? Dann bist du bei diesem Workshop richtig.

Denn in diesem Workshop beschäftigen wir uns mit den einzelnen Schritten zur Erstellung eines Förderantrags. Wir entwickeln gemeinsam eine klare Projektidee, formulieren diese antragsgerecht aus, erarbeiten wie man eine Besetzungs- und Aufgabenliste sowie einen detaillierten Finanzplan erstellt. Außerdem analysieren wir die Förderprofile und -kriterien verschiedener Institutionen und welche zusätzlichen Dokumente für die jeweiligen Anträge benötigt werden.

Der Workshop umfasst sowohl theoretische als auch praktische Elemente. Erste Projektsizzen und Antragsentwürfe können gern mitgebracht und im Workshop besprochen und weiterentwickelt werden.

To answer questions about the upcoming Call for Concepts in the scholarships and residencies programmes, Musicboard Berlin, in cooperation with Kreativ Kultur Berlin and Music Pool Berlin, is offering an online info session for application advice via Zoom:

The info session is aimed at all Berlin musicians who plan to submit a project under the Musicboard scholarships, apply for the musician and band coaching, or apply for a residency by the application deadline of March 1, 2024. In addition to information about the eligibility criteria and how to apply via the digital application form, the info session offers you the opportunity to ask all your questions about the application process. In addition, we will introduce you to the advisory services available in Berlin besides the Musicboard, which can support you in the application process.
Your questions will be answered by Maureen Noe (Project Management Scholarships and Residencies Musicboard Berlin), Maike Wetzel (Kreativ Kultur Berlin) and Petra Sitzenstock (Consulting Music Pool Berlin).

The info session will be conducted in English or German spoken language, depending on the needs of the participants.

THIS WORKSHOP WILL BE GIVEN IN GERMAN ! ! !

Auch als DIY Künstler*in kann man heutzutage noch von der Musik leben. Die meisten wahrscheinlich nicht nur von Spotify-Einnahmen alleine - aber zum Glück gibt es da ja noch diverse andere Möglichkeiten. In diesem Workshop besprechen wir, was für Einkommensströme es alle gibt und welche für euch in Frage kommen bzw. wie ihr euch und eure Karriere entsprechend aufstellen könnt. Denn vielleicht gibt es ja Wege, mit eurer Musik Geld zu verdienen, von denen ihr bisher gar nicht wusstet!

Zusätzlich werden wir darüber sprechen, was es bedeutet, sein Geld systematisch zu verwalten. Wir werden Rituale und Abläufe vorstellen, die dabei helfen können, mehr Übersicht, Ordnung und eine einladende Infrastruktur für deine zukünftigen Einnahmen zu schaffen, sodass sich das Gefühl von Stress und Überforderung in ein Gefühl von Fülle verwandeln kann.

FAQ Pop-Stipendium

Aus Neustart Kultur Mitteln schreibt der Bundesverband Popularmusik ein Stipendienprogramm für Popmusiker:innen aus. Es richtet sich gezielt an freiberufliche Newcomer:innen aller Gewerke aus dem Bereich der Popularmusik. Produzent:innen, Instrumentalist:innen, Texter:innen ab 18 Jahren. Eine Förderung von bis zu 5000 Euro pro Person ist möglich.

To be able to work as a freelance artist in Germany, you have to consider a lot. Germany is known to be quite bureaucratically organized and you have to follow a lot of laws and paperwork.

This can be daunting at first, especially for newcomers to Germany. On the other hand, it is exactly this framework that helps you to secure yourself socially and economically and provides a solid basis for your freelance work.

This workshop, which we will conduct together with our partners from Touring Artists, will give you an overview of all the requirements, peculiarities and general conditions that you have to consider as a freelancer in Germany and what all the preceding steps you have to take in order to be allowed to live and work in Germany at all.
